Discover the joy of horseback riding this fall at the Easterseals Massachusetts Equestrian Center at The Bridge Center in Bridgewater. Whether you are new to the saddle or an experienced rider, fall riding lessons are now open for registration, and there is something for everyone. With traditional English riding lessons that help build confidence in the saddle while developing an independent seat, and adaptive (sometimes known as therapeutic) riding lessons for children and adults with disabilities, this versatile program welcomes all participants in a supportive and welcoming environment. ESMA Equestrian Center offers adult beginner-intermediate lessons on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, as well as children's beginner-advanced lessons weekday afternoons and weekends.

At this barn, the eight wonderful horses are more than just animals; they are partners and motivators. Through weekly lessons, all riders build confidence, improve balance and coordination, and develop essential communication and leadership skills. Adaptive programs are thoughtfully designed by licensed, trained instructors to support children and adults with disabilities in achieving both personal and physical goals. The sensory and vestibular input provided by a horse’s walk is excellent at promoting self-regulation and relaxation for all riders!
